Cancellation Policy
As of January 1, 2012, it is our policy that any person scheduled to attend a training session must provide notice not less than 48 business hours prior to the start of the training, that he/she will not be able to attend the course. The person which fails to provide us with 48 business hours of notice that they will not be attending will be considered a "No Show" and they or their agency will still be responsible for the tuition/cost of the training course. For those who wish to challenge the policy based on an emergency or exception, they may send an email to request an exemption. The email should be attention to: Code 4 Board of Directors and be emailed to support@code4.org.
Explanation of Policy: Our staff strives to provide quality opportunities for our customers/audience and part of that quality is reserving a seat for registered attendees for the training. Our staff also prepares, copies and transports materials including a handout to the session for the registered attendee. Our staff also prepares, prints and transports certificates for attendees to the training sessions. Our staff also organizes, schedules and provides the logistics to prepare this training opportunity to benefit the attendee. Because of these reasons we feel that giving notice of intent to "no show" is necessary to avoid being responsible for the fee. For some of the training opportunities which are at capacity, a person not giving notice prevents us from filling that seat with another attendee. The Board of Directors feels this policy is right and justified.
